November 7th we had the honor to have an international crew of street artist collaborating to create the legendary CFYE wall. Among this crew was the amazing Indigo from Vancouver. It was a joy just to see her paint and she left quite an impression on us. Her calm and relaxed attitude (or maybe just compared to the rest of the crew, you know who you are!) which, in combination with her artwork, makes you realize that still waters run deep. Her stencilling has only just begun and she is already well on her way to become one of the great. But she's not limited to stencil art..or anything for that matters. She's a dancer, writer, photographer, poet and more. In other words, a full-time-multi-talent!

Last year we already did an interview with C215, which gave us a lot of insights. This year we were busy on recapping the year 2009 of C215, when we thought "why not ask the man himself?". So we did, and here's the interview! Enjoy!

It's been a while since C215 told us about Israelian artist Adi Sened. The expressive geometrical figures, the sculptures, the ideas and the man himself were all good reasons to get an interview with Adi. So we did. Check out the interview with Adi on cfye. com!

"At the Paint & Beer event in Amsterdam last week, we had the honor to meet up with the talented Martin Squires from London. Besides the fact he's a great fella, we were intrigued by his works existing out of oil paint, ink, spray paint or a combination of. Not limiting himself, he can get along with all kinds of mediums. Martin was kind enough to lend us two of his artworks, which will be on display for a month in Canvas, Amsterdam! (more details on that later on). Seeing I was quite hammered at Paint & Beer, we thought we'd leave the Q&A for the e-mails."

"What do you see when you think about Tehran? Up untill recently my mind pretty much drew a blank on that one, except news images of a green revolution I had no idea what was going on in the daily lives of people in the Iranian capital. Now I see the works of A1one. This artist has been doing street art before he even knew street art existed anywhere else in the world. As one of the pioneers in Iranian graffiti, his goal is not to make political statements, but rather focus on the social aspect of life. The sollitude of this artists make for a unique style with a great deal of influences. At the other hand, this disconnection with the rest of the world takes its toll on an artist with a free mind."

One of the perks of CFYE is getting in contact with all this raw talent from across the globe. The talent we feature today has been doing his things since the 80's and became a household name in the UK graff scene: Trans1. Trans1 is known for his amazing photo-realistic skills in black and white. He definitely is amongst my favorite artists and it was about time we showcased some of his works here!

"Britain's got talent. And with talent I don't just mean singing housewifes, but they've got some lads with talent in their fingers as well! Today another one who's been doing this for quite a while: Riot68, an ace of all trades. Not only has he got sick characters, he also has an amazing abstract letter style and is responsible for a small army of custom designer toys as well. Enjoy this spam wth Riot68!"

A mix between electro tunes, industrial steel, cranes, electricity masts and urban landscapes. That's what I'd say if someone would ask me to explain what the works of Graphic Surgery look like. This two-man collective has an abstract style which is undeniably unique. In 1999 they've started working together under the name EHGZ which now grew out to their own design studio. For their free work they use the name Graphic Surgery, which also says a lot about how they work. They're masters of different media, and in every one they work with the same surgical precision. Even though they've been going strong for a while, I just recently encountered their works and was instantly intrigued. READ MORE
