Time for the pictures of the second edition of the Vitry Jam! This time there weren't only the names from the first edition of the Jam in December, but also a lot of new names, naming BUE THE WARRIOR, C215, DAN23, KOSTAR, BRUNO LEYVAL, NIARK1, PIXEL PANCHO, COLLIN VAN DER SLUIJS, SLY2, STEW, SUCETTE, RUTGER TERMOHLEN, TSF and FAKE. They've painted three different spots in the Vitry neighbourhood and it looked like an amazing jam. The amazing pictures are, again, provided by Vitostreet and there's another report done by our friends from StencilhistoryX which is way better then ours because they were actually there. Check it. Do I need to say much more about C215 aka Christian Guemy? The Parisian artist with his unique stencilling style already had us in complete awe in 2008. 2009 seemed like an even more productive year filled with amazing collaborations, travels and work after work! So let's check out what the good man has been up to in 2009!We selected a bunch of photos from his Flickr as a guide through C215's 2009.

Looking too damn fresh: the first edition of the Vitry Jam seems like it has been a great succes. The artist line up consisted out of DAN23, B-Toy, Bruno Leyval, Collin Van der Sluijs, C215, Bue the Warrior, Pixel Pancho, Rutger Termohlen, Sly2, the TSF crew, Stew, Zino and Yosh. Nothing short of amazing, I say! I could talk all day long, but let the pictures speak for themselves. Also, a big up to Vitostreet for a lot of these amazing pics. More after the jump of course.

Obviously, it's wintertime and instead of painting outside in the cold, the last bits of creativity of the year go into some awesome indoor work. So if you want to give us christmas presents, here are a few suggestions (picture topping this article totally unrelated). So here you have it, amazing prints and no reason NOT to give us an x-mas present this year.

As ambassador of the French neighbourhood Vitry-Sur-Seine C215 is always busy making this neighbourhood more amazing. The works with an undeniable C215 style are all around, in all sizes and forms.

So, we've been busy quite a lot for the 7th of november (more on that later) and missed quite a few things, so let's get up to date. We've received the C215 book as one of the first (earlier then c215 himself). The book arrived within 2 days after ordering so big up to critères for that! The book is a little square book with around 60 pages. It has a nice lay-out, some write ups (in english as well) and an amazing collection of his work. It's a small price, only €9,90. In our opinion totally worth it, though the small price might make the delivery costs a bit high (€7,60 to the Netherlands). This is why we hope that the book will be distributed in other countries as well, because everyone who loves stencil art should have this one in the collection! Order it here.

Besides all this, C215 has been blessing Prague with some fine stencilling work, both on the streets and in the French Institute of Prague as part of the "Štěpánská Streetart" group show along with Speedy Graphito, Pastaoner, Yz, Mind, Epos and Julie 167. More pics of C215 in Prague on his Flickr.

Now this stencil chosen by our good friends from StencilhistroyX as the stencil of the week is a well deserved pick! C215 does not stop to amaze us with his skills. This new one is done on wood and looks absolutely amazing. This is what the people from SHX say:
