StencilhistoryX has chosen one of the pieces from Eelus' solo show, and I can say that they couldn't have picked anything better. The doors are closed, but this show will definitely be rememembered. From SHX:

"Eelus has come a long way since I first discovered his work. He featured at the Cans Festival a scene from the film "Breakfast at Tiffany's" starring Audrey Hepburn faced with a mean cat. He has since abandoned this anecdotal imagery for a universe that is not part of our world." Read More

Now check out this crazy ass work by our friend Stickee! This insane sorta halftone stencil has some amazing style and detail in it. Just take your time, suck up how complicated this one is. Bigger @ Stickee's Flickr account. More on the Grafik Warfare show later this week.

Priest - Politics is Dicey

Finally, it seems like Priest is also getting picked up by the Local media! He should be watching out though, the US is more Chinese then you'd think, haha. This fine piece of Alabama Governor Bob Riley and Anti-Gambling Czar John Tyson Jr undoubtfully has another fun story of corruption and hypocricy behind it Check this cool interview with Priest right here.

snik

Yes, absolutely killing it. This dude has been on our watchlist from the first time we saw hiw work. It has been a while since we saw some updates from him though, but it was worth the wait. Check out more of the wicked pieces SNIK dropped after the jump.

C215 - Logan Hicks

"Both two artists and two friends are honored this week by The Stencil Of The Week: C215 and his model Logan Hicks. In his new manner, C215 tributes to his NYC based stencil artist friend through his portrait and some elements of recall - the graphic background or electric red colours that evoke Logan’s work. It seems that this is the beginning of a series …"

Another wicked stencil of the week chosen by the good people from StencilhistoryX. I had not heard about the artist  Two Twelve (2:12) before but his works looks very promising. More important then the picture this week, is the timelapse movie. Check it after the jump. Oh and don't forget to visit SHX .

Indigo interview

November 7th we had the honor to have an international crew of street artist collaborating to create the legendary CFYE wall. Among this crew was the amazing Indigo from Vancouver. It was a joy just to see her paint and she left quite an impression on us. Her calm and relaxed attitude (or maybe just compared to the rest of the crew, you know who you are!) which, in combination with her artwork, makes you realize that still waters run deep. Her stencilling has only just begun and she is already well on her way to become one of the great. But she's not limited to stencil art..or anything for that matters. She's a dancer, writer, photographer, poet and more. In other words, a full-time-multi-talent!

Brutal stencil

"This week, the stencil of the week goes to the piece of an artist whom I know absolutely nothing but his name ((B-R-U-T-A-L-). This stencil in eight layers, is a photograph of a brief moment of daily life, on the morning. It features this like a timelapse that completely renews the genre of stencil art, whom composition is often the weakness. Fresh!"
