The Colour out of space - Eelus

the colour out of space

Absolutely amazed by the works of UK based street artist Eelus at his new show; The colour out of space. Eelus did an awesome combination of his more traditional work together with geometrical figures which makes for an interesting collaboration of lines. The show is still open 'till the 6th of march, so if you're in London, check it out. More info on the show on Eelus' website. Check some more pics after the jump. Pics by Unusual Image.

lsd_3_weapons_of_mass_creation_page_001
In all these hectic days we totally forgot to give the proper attention to the 3th issue of the London Street Art design magazine. Again, this issue is filled with amazing visuals, interviews with artists, dj's, creatives and write ups on whatever. Not to be missed. Go get that new issue at their website and give 'em the props they deserve!

Banksy VS Robbo

banksy_1_665277a

I know, this feud is so 2009 but since I haven't given it any attention yet I thought I'd do a little write up on it anyway. Fore those who don't know, Banksy recently did 5 works in London, including the one you see above. The backdrop that you see getting wallpapered over there, is a 80's piece from Robbo, one of the pioneers in the London Graff scene. Outrage! All the writers cried. "Interesting.." All the street artists pondered. Anyhow, Robbo responded in style by placing a king robbo piece over it, erasing everything but the figure making it seem that the figure actually painted the new piece.
